This will be a presentation of an outbreak investigation involving a historically marginalized community in Colorado. Presenters will describe how public health surveillance played a role in outbreak detection. They will detail how public health authority was leveraged for traceback to the implicated food, even without federal agency involvement. Lastly, they will discuss the partnership with CSU Extension and cultural navigators to create an educational campaign aimed at risk-reduction recommendations involving culturally significant food items.
